I've downloaded a movie that requires me to log into the internet everytime I want to watch it. Does anybody know any software that I can use to remove this?

ah, so you want to know if we'll help you steal this movie?

While it technically is stealing, I know I would hate to have to log onto the internet everytime I watched a movie if I obtained the movie legally. As long as he got the movie legally, I don't really see a problem with trying to remove the DRM.

(coming from the licensing/drm end of business)
my experience is if you are required to "log into the internet" to use the IP (in this case, a movie), breaking the drm so you don't have to use the product as you've agreed to when you purchased it *is* the equivelant of stealing, period, end of story. if you don't agree with the terms it's quite likely you can return the product for a refund before using it. if you have to **break** their file protection to use the product, you're breaking the law and stealing from all the folks who invested their lives in creating the product you're enjoying.

the people who make products that we use on our computers are folks just like us - they all have families to feed and lives to lead. stealing their work is no less illegal (or dishonorable) than your employer not paying you for your work.

I downloaded it legally and has the liscence to watch it for 30 days. The problem is sometime my place don't have a good internet connection, that's why I want to know if there is some way to watch it without having to go find an internet connection.

jin,

i understand what you're saying and i accept your explanation for what it is, but the same software that hacks the drm so you don't have to be connected also violates the terms you've agreed to. why not simply PURCHASE the product so you don't have to hack it?
