Driving without tail light seals?? is this OK?

My car is not ready because they have to order seals for the taillights... BUT they said it will take another week or week and a half to get them. They said i could drive it as long as it is not in the rain... is that OK? It is my only car, so I really do need it back!

The foam stick-on gaskets do not create the water-tight seal for the tail lamps, instead there are for padding and compression fitment when assembled to the body. If you have a problem getting them, we supply a new set with our JDM dark tail lamps, and I could break a kit apart for you.
