Re: The 4th element^^^^^^^^^Well said Doc. The HPDE organizers preach and want to keep the risk down to 3 elements: you, your equipment and the track. Unfortunately, unless you're all by yourself, the 4th element of risk; other cars, will be there too. There are wankers in racing who cost innocent racers money and heartbreak just like there is in HPDE. The good news is that as you get better, 1) you'll be running with better drivers and 2) it'll be easier to spot and avoid the wankers.That said..........No guarantees. be careful out there.
