Drivers door lamp on.

Hey guys, it's not a huge deal right now but my drivers side door lamp indicator comes on when I first get in the car. Door is closed, sometimes I open/reclose it may/maynot go off. Eventually it goes off. Where is the trigger switch for these? Thanks.

There is a microswitch at the end of the door where it hits the striker plate to latch closed. (At least that is per the manual.) The test is to check for continuity (door panel off). Seperate the two pin connector. Door open there should be continuity between the two wires. Door closed there should be none. (page 23-198 in the service manual)
