I broke a drive belt tonight (i think). My friend pointed it out hanging from under neath my car. (**I found out that I can launch my friggen car at 6,500 rpms with VERY LITTLE spin!!!! but not so good for el clutch).

Anyways, my temps are fine, alternator belt is working. There is a missing belt from my lower two pulleys...don't know what it is. I drove the car for another hour: no problems. My a/c is and has been hot for about 3 weeks now when I believe the belt was starting to go...so maybe its the A/C pulley? I don't know but the a/c still blows and everything...im clueless. Any help appreciated.

It should be the A/C compressor belt.

If your A/C blows hot, it could be because you're compressor's not spinning, which is what happens when you don't have a belt to turn it. :) If you look, I'd bet there's no belt on the A/C compressor and idler pulley (where the belt is normally routed).

BTW: Your belt may have broke because the A/C compressor has seized. You might want to have the compressor checked out before you stick another belt on it.
