Downforce Carbon Interior Pieces

Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting some carbon interior trim pieces from DF to replace/cover the aged pieces in my 91. Anyone with experiences/ close up photos besides the ones from DF? I tried asking SOS since I was going to buy from them but they didn't reply to this request. I just want to make sure they are of good fitment/quality before I spurge on them, because to be fair I wasn't impressed with the quality of my DF engine cover from a few years ago, was hoping the interior pieces would be better. You can also PM me if you don't want to post them. It would be much appreciated.

I don't know about the quality of the downforce products. But another less expensive option is to have the plastic pieces removed, sanded and repainted. I had that done and it made a big difference in the interior. I chose black gloss but the options are limitless.

Is DF even still making interior parts? I had the DF carbon headliner {which was awesome} but was a limited run.

I have a lot of the DF interior bits. Quality and figment is good.

IIRC every Downforce piece I have seen has had a serial number and a holographic sticker to guarantee its authenticity...can someone chime in on this?

My Stacey style DF rockers have this. Unsure of interior pieces though.

^^Thanks again for chiming in. Yeah I bought it used from a prime member here years ago, pretty sure it didn't have the serial / holo sticker. Oh well.

The sticker sometimes comes separate and it is up to the person to apply it or not.

I've applied some of mine but also left it off for certain parts.

I'll have to dig out my cover sometime and take a photo of it. Maybe someone else with it could chime in. Mine was very thin (feels cheap). And the carbon isn't cut well, part of it is exposed to over the lexan.
