The Acura Integra GSR has the same setup...a lot of honda tuners are disabling the IAB (Intake Air Bypass) for that same reason you stated. One thing to note is that the Integta Type-R does NOT use this. (which is basically the same motor but has higher output). A standard upgrade procedure when building a GSR motor is to swap a type-r intake manifold for that reason. You should get a little bit better top end, but im not sure if the NSX ECU will through a code for disabling it...EDIT: i just re-read nosnsx's post:"I think this might give you a little bottom end but alottttt more top end."I read it first as i think it might give you a little less bottom end but alotttttt more top end."It's a TRADEOFF, there's no way you will get both low and top end by removing it (in a stock-like setup)..BUT, I wouldn't be suprised for a second if the tradeoff is worth it though with nitrous...since its basically torque in a bottle. you need to dyno with and without...------------------jack of all trades, master of some.[This message has been edited by true (edited 01 August 2002).]
