can i use the same bulbs in the 97 headlights and in the 02+ ones???
The '97 headlights are conventional bulbs, 9006 and 9005. 2002+ headlights are HID and the bulbs and housings are different from the '97, and may be different from whatever modification kit you might be buying.

In europe the 2002+ NSX doesn't come with HID stock...it is optional...i think it is the same housing, because it has the same part numbers...i need only to buy the bulbs and ballasts...

probably i'll just wait to the conversion ...

thanks dude,
Nuno

02 nsx has d2r,
edit:sorry guys, i always seem to mix up d2r and d2s,but it is,in fact d2s(the difference is so small, aftermarket d2 bulbs now have both notches so it fits everything)

2002 is d2s, not d2r.

d2r is for reflector housings like early model IS300, LS430, GS430, G35 and like.

d2s and d2c is for projection

if d2c(which i never heard of) is for projector, then why is the 02 nsx d2s?It has projectors - no?

I just replaced my headlight bulbs on my 1997 NSX.
Low beam 9006
High beam 9005
It is the same for your 1998 NSX unless it has been modified. If you have large hands, it will be tough to replace the bulbs. I wear medium size gloves, and I had some difficulties in reinstall the spring clips to hold the bulb in place (not much room to move behind the retractable headlights). Took me about 15 minutes for the first bulb, and about 5 for the second bulb. Good luck.
