Doors lock all the time

I currently have a 1991 NSX which I had not driven in a month. When I went to unlock the doors the small post would come up for an instant but would go back down to the locked position. I have tried to unlock with a key (both driver and passenger sides) with no success. I was hoping someone out there has an idea of what is going on so I can attempt to repair or a reputible repair shop in Orange County Ca. Thanks

Sounds like your cylinder lock switch is grounding the lock position. If you're handy with electrical, you can use this links below to get to the manual page that will guide you to fixing the problem, if not you can try Autowave as nsxtasy has mentioned. I wouldn't trust just any electrical shop to work on the NSX. Chances are it's probably not the switches that you use to unlock and lock inside the car as those are pretty reliable. You might just want to push them up and down to loosen them up just in case. You will have to remove the door panel if it's not the switches.

Note that on This diagram the designation of the wire colour from the right door key cylinder switch "lock" pole (pin 3) is wrong - it indicates a GRN/WHT wire, when it is in fact a GRY/WHT wire.
