Sometimes when I open the driver's side door, the interior dome light, footwell and driver's side door light does not turn on.

I can not seem to find the pin/switch to turn off/on the light when the door opens. Where is it? Is this a common problem?

Take a look at this page.

You can try cleaning it out with some contact cleaner or the magical WD-40. Sounds like it's dirty or stuck since it sometimes works.

The switch is inside the door latch. (The piece that's held in place by those 3 allen head bolts). Give it a blast of WD-40, that should solve your problem.
