hey everybody. i think i've finally become comfy enough with my car that i am contemplating tearing the tranny out and doing the short gears, r&p and clutch. i have a friend who has rebuilt a few transmissions, and i am pretty confident about the ordeal.

i was just wondering if you guys have any particulars that you know of that i should look for/consider while doing this big job. is there anything extra that i should have? any special tools or procedures? also, if you have a good resource for nsx transmission work, that would help out a ton. i did a quick search, but didn't find much in the way of detail.

thanks a bunch.

Make sure to use the workshopmanual, and read the faq about the gearbox, coz there is a few small glitches. One of them is a little shim in between the gears. I also strongly suggest to use Hondabond for putting the gearbox together again.
