Does this vehicle history seem strange?

I am researching a 2001 VIN JH4NA21611T000038

I found the following history on Carfax. Is there something wrong when a vehicle can go from 4,000mi in 2001 to 26,000mi in 2003 with absolutely no records in between?

No, not at all.

I'm not sure why think this is questionable, but

a. There are many owners who put as much as 13,000 miles a year on an NSX. It's above average, but not unusual.

b. Carfax records are only generated from "official" records, often from government sources, like title changes, state inspections, etc. It's easy for a car to go two years or more with no such official records, and that doesn't indicate any kind of problem at all. For example, I've owned my NSX for 13 years since I bought it new. Since the title was issued, there are only four entries on my car's Carfax, all for vehicle emissions testing, which is required in my part of Illinois. If I lived in parts of the state which don't require emissions testing, there wouldn't be any entries in Carfax since then.
