Does the 92 exhaust fit the 02 rear valance?

Hi, everyone
I am planning to add a 02 rear valance on my 92's, does anyone know the exhaust will fit the valance? if they fit in the valance, does anyone know where can I order one with a good price.
Also, I want to get an intake or high flow air filter, but some of my friends told me I may not pass the smoke, is it true?
I have a friend just install an HKS intake and a 3.5" exhaust with a brand new cat converter, but he fail on the smoke check, some mechanics even refuse to perform a smog for him because he has that kind of mods.
Does anyone have the same experience?

it will fit unless you got a dual tip exhaust like me. if you are worried that the earlier oval tip won't be able to clear the 02 valance, you can always unscrew the screw under the oval tip and get an appropriate tip from your local auto shop
