As a newbie some questions. Is the drivers head position exactly the same as with the OEM seats? How comfortalbe are they? How adjustalbe is the seat?

I've been really into the PP for the longest time and it seems like the overall height is taller than the stock seats.

I have tried to find a few shots of the PP to compare to the actual NSXR or typeS seats and I realized that the R seats are a bit shorter.

PP and NSX R seats are completely different. NA 1/2R just got the PP and the cusions don't really fit into the R seat.

The black seat on the left is the PP with Type-R's center inserts. And the red seat on the right is Type-R with PP's center inserts.

They're definitly not the same. If you just see them with pictures then YES they LOOK the same. But if you have both of them physically side by side and look at all the arches and curves and sit on it then you will see the difference.

From the size of the cushions, it seems the oem type-r recaro seat is even wider and more relaxed than the pp.

Just found a pic on this site, Type-R seats. Lower yellow marking: I doubt that the OEM three-point-harness will work with a Pole Position seat. So is 4-point-harness a must with these seats? Any other solutions? Before I'll invest big $$$: Do Recaro seats wear that fast? (upper yellow marking)

why so doubtful?
i've made OEM 3 point seatbelts and buckles to work just perfectly fine with my side mounts and sliders on many different bucket seats.

i had used 4 point harness on my bride seats but hated it. to much restraint. couldnt reach the Radio or AC controls. not good for daily driving. hard to check your blind spots.

what you see is not wear. its just the removeable padding held on by velcro and can be positioned back without the "gap".
