Does anybody know anything about this car?

This thread & the guy's CL post are pointless w/o a VIN.

$26000? 197k on the chassis? No thanks

Come on...you know everyone with a high mileage NSX still thinks they're sitting on a gold mine. :D

...and they want to be sure to recoup new value, top-dollar for all those aftermarket mods...

.

Pretty car and what they did with the engine (all black) is very interesting. LOTS missing from the for sale posting though, so hard to judge. Prolly need To reach out to the guy to get more details.

Lots of NSXs at that Niguel Motors shop

I've seen a few of those 02 conversions. Many of them only look good from afar... 197k miles is a lot even for a Honda.

Are there holes in the front bumper for a license plate?

That's what I never understood until I started surfing prime ... In Canada im used to believing that after 100km (60000 miles) is considered to be higher milage , yet on prime i keep reading that 160000 km (100000 miles) for an nsx is 'brand new' or barely broken in.

I've emailed the guy he told me its up to date on maint but didn't really give any details and wouldn't budge off 25,5 so I passed.

Looks really nice. But if it's jdm does that mean its rhd?!?

It seems that now-a-days something (a car) can be qualified as "JDM" just from the fact that the company that makes the car is based in Japan. :D

out of curiousity; what would prime members consider a 'fair' and reasonable price for this car (the monkey wrench being the mileage)

I just thought 25,5 was a bit on the high side for the miles. If its clean though for the right person I don't think 21-23 is unreasonable?HE just didn't try to sell the price if that makes any sense. I also emailed the shop about the car that said worked on it and they never responded.

THAT answer depends upon whether each person answering that question is selling this car or buying this car. :D
