When I see a Ferrari Testarossa, I feel like the car is very dated. It just looks old, imo. When do you think the NSX will look old, if ever? Or, is it a true timeless classic?
IMHO, the original 1991 bone stock NSX looks dated. Rims, drop the height, small body mods will do wonders for the car. The overall balance of the design is timeless, the details are what brings it up to date with modern cars.
I just parked my 92 tonight at a local Starbucks while I ran next door to hit the atm....came out 5 mins later and there was a crowd around my car.

Most likely never, the original GT40, 288GTO, Toyota 2000GT, Datsun 240Z, etc still look great after all these years. We have another classic here. When do you think the NSX will look old, if ever?

Look is purely subjective. I am not sure if you have ever parked next to a 02+. I wouldn't say filp up is dated, but it is easy to tell which is more modern when parked next to each other. Not to mention weight saving + functional projectors.I think the pre 02 NSX looks way better than the bug-eyed 02+ look. The visible headlamps seem to shorten the front end and make the 02+ look squashed.
I agree that the 02+ projectors look more modern, I just don't consider that to automatically be a good thing and do prefer the smooth look of the pop-ups when they're down. I believe part of the division might be the age of the owner with younger people generally preferring the newer look.Look is purely subjective. I am not sure if you have ever parked next to a 02+. I get lots of compliments on how my car looks and people always asking if it is a new model from Acura or Honda. And my car is 16 years old.
