I don't mean nessasary the car alone being cursed but in my ownership it does seem to be cursed. Let me explain.
I bought a 99 Twin Turbo Corvette. Basically everyday that I have owned it something has happened to it.
Car was in Virginia ( an 18hr one way trip)

(1 day prior to leaving towards Virginia) Seller calls to say the rear quarter that he ordered (to replace the quarter with a 3 inch tear in the fiberglass) came in but had an antenea hole where it did not belong. ( come to find out the replacement quarter was for a Zo6). He knocked a few hundred off and I accepted.

Leave that evening and drive all night. Also that day The seller called and said he moved the car and the Winshield wiper motor activated on its on. He called every dealer and parts store but they were either closed or out of stock till Monday. He had to pull the fuse to make it turn off. I sigh and tell him I'm still on my way, nothing is keeping me from my Vette.

Arrived in Alexandria, Va.
As we getting ready to leave we notice my wifes Mercedes has a flat. Spare has week air pressure and the shitty tire Iron won't budge not even one lug nut. go and purchase a 4-way and air up spare.
Brought a V1 and a Garmin Nav with us and I really wanted it in the Vette with me on the way back. Damn cigarette lighter doesn't work. so I cut the plug on my one in to three out adapter and wire it into the fuse box which is already opened due to the wiper fuse. end up breaking the soulder on the sub fuse. Crap, no sub on trip but whatever lets go. Get in to drive off, all of a sudden No A/C or radio!!! Work on fuse box jerry rigging that my buddy had done for the V1 and get all working again even sub.

Cover over interior sensor left of the ignition breaks and falls off.
Also guy ahead of me on Interstate runs off the road toward the left into the grass and kicks up some very large debris which pelts the crap out of the front of the car( and yes some pretty nad chips and scratches). He won't pull over and can't get the right police jurudistion so o'well.

Get in car and notice a crack in the windshield over a foot long right in the drivers view that originated from the left side right at the moulding. Has a lil rock peck.

Pick car up from detail and latter notice the lil plastic moulding behind the door handle on the passenger side is missing, of course you know what detail said.

Get into slight fender bender. All that happened was some light scuffs and scratches on corner of rear bumper. No police we go our seperate ways.

Run the car on a "closed track" pretty hard 3 times (damn them SR20 240SX's) and while idling we hear a pop sound and hissing then the car starts smoking from the passenger side and flames are seen. Fire gets estinquished very quickly. Call wrecker at 3 am and get it towed home looking a mess. Wrecker backs into the Wall of the garage and pushes the wall back a foot and bust the surrounding bricks out.

Friends using garage to install a Hellion single turbo on his 07 mustang GT and in the meantime were looking at the Vette. Spray off the fire estinquisher powder and diagnose as oil on header wrap and turbos too hot and caught on fire. Wrong!!!! Started car up and it started smoking right away from same spot, water dosed it and disconnected battery at the same time. Final diagnose was A/C line had popped and the starter wire had a burnt spot on it from being routed incorrectly too near the tuRbo and mustve sparked. Sounds pretty far fected to me too but thats all we got to go on at the moment. and I have put 300 miles on it since then with no problems.

Decide to make a roadtrip (yes, we were cooking with no A/C) to Baton Rouge to check on exhaust upgrades and maybe a dyno. On the way there with my buddy driving he pulls into a gas station and runs right into a lady pulling out. damages badly the right front fender and scrapes the front 19x10 New CCW and bumper!!!!
Go to dyno shop and they can't get a good run. auto tranny won't hold the gear like they won't and every time boost hits the tires light up. They try a few times until finally they nail it and the car comes to life and pops all the dyno strap and drive off!!!! over the fans and jackstands giving the fans support.
So, I told my wife I will fix the car and sell it. We are not meant for each other.
