I took that picture of the Backyard Special showcar last November, and its a Japan-spec kit that a few US owners have installed. A few US folks have them installed(Ben B, George W, etc).
I believe both SoS and Cybernation, amongst others, sell it.
PRO: clean lines (IMO one of the cleanest out there)
CON: less lighting (compared to OE HID); inadequate sealing results in occasional lens fogging; $$

If I'm not mistaking, Mao Mao had the Taitec kit & Ben Beckert & MYNSX currently have Taitec, not Back Yard. The two are different, as you can see the BY has hi/low beam round lights whereas the Taitec has a huge border around a small rectangular opening for a fog lamp which IMO is not as clean looking. The Taitec kit is also not sealed, don't know about BY.

That kit looks nice and the car is purple!
The car (almost) look like a McLaren F1, the other car I truly admire.
It even has one of those cool wings on the back that I've only seen once before, on this blue beauty:

<B>Cojones</B> : "occasional lens fogging" ??? How bad? In my opinion lens fogging can make an exotic look cheap&nasty... any fogging is bad. 
But from that photo, they look good. They even look like those on the MYNSX (see attached) although i am probably wrong.
<B>BITeR</B> : that's a beautiful POTM ... except the kid is standing in the wrong spot... shouldn't he be on the wing?

I like the kid, but I would love that picture without him too.
Oh, the kit looks like crap when it's fogging. Still the round lights with a complete black surrounding look real good. Like the first pic.
