I'd like to express my disappointment with Do-Luck (http://www.do-luck.com) as a company due to their (lack of) quality control and failure to provide adequate customer service.
Towards the end of 2017, I asked Nengun (https://www.nengun.com), an official Do-Luck dealer, if I could place an order for a Do-Luck rear wing with CFRP for my NSX. Nengun shortly made Do-Luck NSX aero parts orderable on their website (https://www.nengun.com/do-luck/honda-nsx-aero-parts), and I subsequently placed an order on 12/29/17 for the wing which had a 30-day lead time. On 2/2/18, Nengun notified me that the wing had shipped out which I received on 2/6/18 (DHL Express Fukuoka, Japan to California).
The wing was well-packaged, and the product was unscathed from shipping. Upon inspection of the wing, I noticed on one side of the edge on the middle "air-foil" section, the clear coat may have been "taken down" too much in the final buffing stage such that the carbon weave was partially exposed/compromised. Not a huge deal had I intended to paint the wing but one of the primary reasons one buys carbon fiber parts is for the look. At this point, the wing was still acceptable as I figured I would take it to a local body shop as it could use a few coats of clear anyway to improve it's gloss. But if I'm being honest, the finish and weave appearance of this Do-Luck piece was not on the same level as the SEIBON TR-Style that I had previously.

I was told it's good practice to test-fit body parts prior to paint (clear in this case), and I was excited to see what the wing would like mounted as well, so I removed my OEM spoiler in preparation and began to remove the provided mounting bolts on the Do-Luck wing. The wing uses the same six mounting points as OEM but instead of studs, the wing has six nutserts (three for each of the two "feet" on each side). So here is the other issue: on one foot of the wing, the middle bolt just spun when I tried to remove it. I used a 10 mm combination wrench by hand and was gentle during the whole process so I suspect this one nutsert was not set correctly. Now I can't even remove the bolt, much less mount the wing for a test-fit.

I contact Nengun via chat on their website right then and there, and they requested that I e-mail the same photos I've attached linked here. They said they'd contact Do-Luck to see what they say but in the meantime, they asked if I could look into getting quotes to fix this wing (brand new, let me remind you!) locally because it would most likely be the easiest and quickest given the production time, shipping, and related costs.
Long story short, Nengun responded a few days later and said Do-Luck would not accept any responsibility for the defects. Both the Nengun representative and I were not expecting this, and we're learning (perhaps the hard way) that this is the type of workmanship and service Do-Luck provides . During that time waiting to hear back, I had brought the wing into no less than five body shops, and found only two who were comfortable working with carbon fiber and willing to perform the repairs at a cost approximately half of the wing's price yet would be unable to provide warranty on their work. So what to do?
I will say that Nengun has been top-notch during this whole ordeal, and they have even offered me a fractional refund/credit at their store for something they probably do not need to take responsibility. So hats off to them and thumbs down for Do-Luck .
