Is the NSX a DYI friendly car? I'm talking about Oil Changes, Brake Components (brake line changes, pad changes), exhaust installs etc.

You know, anything you could do yourself even if it might be a pain in the a**.

Basically, are you guys comfortable with putting in a new head unit or changing to new speakers? LOL

I've done all of the following (most for the the first time) on my NSX. I've found that I really ENJOY working on the car.

- Brake caliper rebuild / flush / pad swap
- ABS system flush
- Coolant system flush
- Transmission fluid change
- Air / Fuel / Oil filter change
- Plug change
- Clutch & Slave Master Cylinder swap
- Also several non-maintenance items

I did pay to get the timing belt and cooland hoses changed, and may also for a new clutch. Anything else is going to be DIY. I have found the car to be very user friendly.

Awsome, I love working on cars so just making sure it will respond well to someone who isn't ASE NSX certified. :)

I pretty much do everything myself except paint and body work.
