I want to replace the bad components in my door amp and can not find the link for the location on the board and part numbers to swap out. Any help out there would be great. Thanks, Dan Tobie

I just removed my driver door amplifier. I am looking at it right now. There is some blackened substance that is below C8. Said blackened substance is also at the base of 17,18, and 19 on U1. I guess the question is...do you think that I fried U1 from running the amp when it was broken? Or...do you think the black substance is from a leaky C8?

I bet it's just the caps that are bad.

Thanks for the pictures, I am switching to the higher temp caps and might add a little fan. The goo that covered the center caps, will that act like a insolation and contain the heat. Dan
