I have an 01 with about 900 miles. As stated in prior discussions, the build quality on the 01 stinks compared to the 97 and 98 I had before. Anyway, here are some of the problems that I have:
1. Fuel door (not cap) flops around. It looks like the spring loaded metal piece isn't attached to the little fuel door. It's annoying when pumping gas when the door keeps hitting your hand.
2. Passenger side. When you open the door, there is this black plastic cover (maybe 4in by 18in...side garnish?) that keeps falling off every time the passenger gets out. It is located underneath the door (when closed).
3. Passenger side door doesn't close very easily. You literally have to slam it to get it to shut.
None of these are major or engine related problems. The question is...there is a brand new Acura dealership that opened up about 2 blocks from my office. It is obviously the most convenient but they don't have an NSX technician there. Given the minor issues I have, should I just bring the car there or should I drive 20 minutes to another Acura dealer with an NSX certified tech? Thanks.
