Except the Flow master option, anyone tried to just bolt a straight pipe with a reasonator on it?? or even without the reasonator.??

I have a Comp tech but it's the earliest model so the tip nor the sound is not too good...

Also, do you know what is the theory behind that the left Cat will have the pipe go all the way to the right (tip) then the right cat have pipe go all the way left?? just gaining the space for the muffler?? or there's some thing that they have to make the pipe longer??

What I'm really thinking is just that I would like to have a muffler shop weld two pipes (possibly with a short resonator) to both end, and it's going to be just for fun. (ie.. for race track/ fun driving meet...)

Hey you can try any thing you like but a straight pipe or straight pipe with a small resonator will be loud loud loud. Even on a track you will run into noise limits and on the street if you don't get pulled over by the police the noise will take the fun out of driving your car. As people have noted here the NSX intake sound is as fun or more fun then the exhaust note so you will be missing that if it gets drowned out by the exhaust.
