DIY Exhaust system !

Today finished installing the DIY exhaust system I purchased
courtesy of fellow Prime member and contributor Angus .
Quality is excellent and install wall was a breeze, the unique tip design lines up near perfect.

Just thought I'd share some pics and vids I took today.

My current setup is SOS/SC , GT-1 F1 Headers , RT/ HF cats

My Previous exhaust was SS GT-Rom 5.1

This new system sounds Incredible !

IMO it is way smoother than GT 5.1 . I'm sure that some of us who own or have heard the 5.1 complain about the raspiness . Not an issue with this system. The distinct sound from this exhaust is pure quality.

If I have time I will try and get more clips of the car revving from behind.

It sounds very good, I think you give up some of the high pitch for the loss of raspiness. This is definitely a bit deeper, less wail. I know my system quite well and I am listening to this, we have the same headers as well. Build quality looks really good too.

Butt Dyno tells me this exhaust system generates power. Will have to re-dyno to confirm but feels like I gained a few Ponies :smile:

Angus- any chance you might make a titanium version one day?

I will not be producing this in titanium , I feel it is very lightweight already , plus the sound would suffer from titanium plus I have spent so much time on this project .

This is one of the best sounding exhausts I have ever heard on an NSX , very smooth as well as NO annoying tones / resonances / drone at any RPM .

I agree about the GT-5.1 and Bel Canto , they sound raspy and unmuffled at low rpm / part throttle .

durh.... what do u expect? You want me to discount my own experience? I don't think so.. I don't own a tubi but that's the only other exhaust i have heard that sounds anywhere near an F1 car... I have nothing to gain to say good things or bad things about any type of exhaust... :wink:

hm? i just said 3 words. i never said to discount your own experience. I dont think any exhaust sounds "f1"
