Well thanks to everyone’s help and input I finally was able to re-badge my door emblem from NSX to NSX R.
See thread: Thanks SOS & Help on NSX-R Door Badge
So I have already did a search and did not find any DIY door emblem replacement (NSX to NSX-R) so I figured I’ll start one for our future NSX Prime members who may need some assistance.
All u need are:
*Masking tape,
*Floss
*Solvent (to dissolve the adhesive tape)
*Clean rag
As for the solvent, I used alcohol. it took some time but was able to remove the double sided tape perfectly and no harm to the paint. Other products that you can use are Goo Gone, or WD-40.
With WD-40 I was a little worried that it may leave a film of oil and the new NSX-R emblem might not stick well and come off or fly off when I’m driving
Cheers.
1. Place tape around the Emblem and try to tuck the tape between the door handle and emblem to avoid any scratches that may happen from moving the floss back and forth.
2. Place the floss. Try to tuck the floss under the emblem. I only used my finger nail and did not want to use any tool or metal object that may scratch the door handle or emblem since I wanted to save the original NSX Door Emblem.
3. Gently slide the floss back and forth. At this point just be patient and it will be worth it in the end.
4. Once the emblem is removed. Remove and replace the masking tape and try to cover the door handle and only the inside and double sided tape are exposed. This is to avoid any fine and hairline scratches that may happen as u rub off the adhesive.
5. Clean surface
6. Remove masking tape. (Do not install the emblem if u still have masking tape on the door handle. Good luck removing the tape if you install the emblem  )
7. Install new emblem
