DIY: Alcantara Wrapped Seat Belt Guides | 1991-2005

This video is an excerpt from my mid year 2024 build update video. It is not a step by step DIY, but it will show you. how I went about wrapping my OEM NSX seat belt guide in alcantara to achieve a black seat belt guide (OEM black guides are only sold with black seat belts which i believe are discontinued). I wanted to do this because I was doing a full black NSX-R headliner. Alternatively, there are designs for 3D printable guides online which is a great alternative and was my backup plan if Alcantara wrapping didn't work out. My only critique of those is that they have a split designed into them, which isn't necessary because if printed with the correct material, they should be able to flex over the seat belt like the OEM can.

I used 3M Hi-Strength 90 for the glue and authentic Alcantara.
