So after doing some Google searches and searching Prime, I could not find one that was detailed and with photos. I've also found a lot of people mentioning the boiling water technique, but I'm going to introduce a different method widely used in baking headlights for other vehicles.
No photos of the removal of the rear center taillight piece from the NSX, but you basically just remove the carpet a little from where the center tail piece is, and there's 4 8mm nuts holding it in. Unbolt the 4x 8mm nut with a long 8mm socket.
Once you remove the center tail piece, it should look like this:
Start pre-heating the oven to ~200 degrees.
Once pre-heat is done, stick the center piece face up into the oven for 12 minutes. Optional but you can use something to place under the tail piece. I used a wooden coaster block.
After the 12 minutes, take the tail piece out. Start to unscrew the 3x (+) screws from the back (this step could also be done before you place the rear center tail into the oven).
Start prying at the edges with a flat head screw driver. The rubber silicone should be soft enough where it starts separating very easily.
Once there is enough room, you can use both your hands are start pulling it apart gently until the whole piece separates into two.
After youve pulled the center piece apart into two, there will be a yellow plate inside where the red cover housing is. Slowly separate that from the red cover housing as well. Should look like this once everything is separated.
While everything is still warm, start peeling the whole Acura decal off.
Once done, it should look like this:
I used a bottle of Silicone RTV to seal. I used it between the cracks/lines of the black piece of the housing that was separated.
Once finished applying, put everything in reverse order and press the pieces together firmly. If the original rubber silicone has become hard, try reheating it again in the oven for a couple of minutes. The rubber silicone should soften back up and it'll be easier to tighten back again.
Wallah! No more ACURA decal!
Peel orange film and apply the new 02+ Acura NSX Rear Emblem to the center of the rear center tail light piece. It is only double sided stick tape. The part number is 75701-SL0-A01.
Hope this helps!
