Hello,

I’ve got a small problem to dismantle the arm of windscreen wiper (conductor’s side).
Which are the stages to take out the pipe of windscreen washer integrated into the arm.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The windshield washers are not integrated into the wiper arm on the NSX. If yours are, it was custom done and did not come from the factory that way.

The stock wiper arm can be removed simply by removing the 17 mm black acorn nut on the end. Then press the wiper down while lifting.

The european NSX's have a retractor module in the wiperarm, only on the driversside.
I think you have to remove a plug from under the black cover to finally remove the whole wiper assembly itself.

So its an electric cable, not a tube.
Be carefull with the whole assembly, a new arm for a euro NSX is like 850 euro if i recall correctly.

Looked it up, (i was thinking in good 'ol dutch guilders...lol).

Its on the 2002 partslist for 407,72 Euro ex. which is about 510 Euro's today. Which is about 637 USD.

I have to add that if this item was availble in the US, it would prolly been half the price, as we get shafted big style here.

What is a retractor module?

Looks like it controls the pressure of the wiperarm to the windshield. Prolly depending on speed of the car.

I ran into the same problem. Looks like unpluging is the best way to do. What about mounting it back again? Does it need to be in a certain position? Of course, the cable should not be streched while the arm is operating. What about removing the large plastic thing which covers the wiper hardware and the molding below the windscreen? The SM is only vague about them. Thanks!
