I have the chance to get a new NA-1 windshield for my '98 NA-2. It is much cheaper than the NA-2 original part. Does it fit? Any downsides? Don't ask for my insurance - I have none for my track only car.

I believe it will fit without breaking a sweat. Heck, a shop switched my OEM wind-shield to an after-market unit, and I love it.
If it is track only use, this may not be a factor but in 97+ models they added special heat rejecting glass that reduces the inside temps by 10 degrees as well as reduces galre.

A big THANK YOU to all for your help - I'll go the cheaper way, don't mind the glass colour or the heat rejecting - in my stripped car the most heat comes from the inside.
