Differences between OEM 16/17 wheels

Anybody knows whether the OEM 16/17 wheels were identical over the years 94-01, aside from paint/finish, in terms of material and shape?

Except R wheels I don't think there's a difference. But you need to invoke someone from NSX refresh plan or Honda directly to verify metallurgy and alloys have not changed during production span.

You also have the Zanardi / Type S wheels which are the same diameter/width/offsets as 16/17 from 94-01 but are forged by BBS and are a bit lighter.

Thanks guys. I'm wondering if Honda changed the alloy composition in 97 to allow the CNC machining offered from then on. If not, I suppose any 94-96 wheel could be turned into a 97-01 wheel? I realize very few people could know for sure, the NSX gods surely...
