My '93 NSX has always had a fairly clunky drivetrain but recently
I have noticed that when I corner slowly, especially without power, there is
a grinding noise coming from the diff area, this is getting steadily worse as is
the clunk when I take up drive.Has anyone got a clue what this is and how much it is likely to cost to put right? Thanks for any suggestions.

Well, you could try to change the diff fluid, it wouldn't hurt anything. Several members have had luck with a combination of GM syncromesh and Friction Modified.

But I would guess the grinding is coming from a bad wheel bearing. You could also check to make sure nothing is rubbing on your rotor, such as, dust shields or the tab indicating brakes are low in matierial.

Good luck
