I saw an advertisement today for a car show event to be hosted at the Island of Capri casino in Lake Charles for September 10th. I am thinking this could make for a group drive/weekend getaway to see a few nice cars and gamble a bit. anyone interested or have been in the past?

• All cars, trucks and bikes are welcome
• Entry cost is $20 for pre-registration until September 5 and $30 at the door
• Automotive vendors welcome, free spaces will be provided
• FREE to spectators
• Event will be held in parking garage with plenty of shade
• Security will be on hand throughout the entire weekend

Schedule of Events

• Registration: 9:00am
• Battle of the Bands: 10:00am – 5:30pm
• Judging: 11:00am
• Award ceremony: 6:00pm
