I just got back from the Auto Show and there wasn't too much exciting going on there.

I have decided to go with the Carrera GT as my next car, I wasn't impressed as much as I hoped I would be with the Ford GT, I didn't think the fit and finish of the car was very good.

I am always sad when I see the NSX, sitting in the Acura booth virtually unchanged from year to year, I wish they would give it a significant upgrade or drop the car all together.

I would buy th Ford today if it was anywere close to sticker price, did you see it cut in half?
The Carrera GT in silver is the way too go.
I did like the flip top on the Ferrari Super America, and the MC 12 was cool looking, other than that the show was lame.

The number one reason you should buy that car is the sound of the exhaust, its the closest sound to an F1 car you can get.

I would swear that Acura had the same exact Nsx in there both last year.

Did it have a VIN#, or was it the same one I saw where the VIN# was all zeros??

John,

Did you get a chance to check out the E60 M5?

I did, I don't like what Bangle did with the 5 series cars, the M5 is better than the others but still doesn't do much for me.

I love my S600 and plan on keeping that for some time to come as my performance four door car. I put winter tires on it and drive it regularly, it is amazing how much power it puts out with this cold weather!

I have a deposit and I think 3rd or 4th on the list for that car but I love my E39 M5 with the 6 speed tranny. I do the same with the winter tires. Hopefully I will get there this week, you were brave to go on a weekend!!

Dan
