After purchasing a black NSX a few weeks back, I realized I would have to dramatically upgrade my detailing supplies in order to keep the car in the kind of condition I expected for this car. I read the posts by Detailed Image in the Detailing subforum of Prime as well as the information accumulated at Detail University and let me say I learned a LOT from these posts.
After reading this information, I asked George (the owner of Detailed Image) to pull together a list of recommended products for me. He quickly did so, and was highly responsive in responding to all the questions I had over the next few days. As a result of some of these rounds of questions, some things were added and some were deleted. Despite the fact these changes came in several different emails, when it came time to place the order everything was exactly correct. In addition he gives Prime members 10% off.
Today two boxes of stuff came in from FedEx, just as promised. The packaging was extremely professional (to say the least). The plastic bottles of fluids and pastes were individually bubble wrapped! Despite being mostly just car washes, cleaners, and waxes, it was packed more carefully than some of the fragile items I have bought online from other vendors. I just couldn't believe it.
I value not only the service that this vendor gave after I made my order, (which obviously exceeded my expectations) but also by the way he freely shared his knowledge, advice, and experience before he even knew I was going to buy anything.
This has been one of the best online buying experiences I have ever had, maybe the best ever, and I do a fair amount of online shopping. I cannot recommend Detailed Image strongly enough to anyone who may be in the market for car detailing goods.
