i need some serious help and this one may stump you.
had problem with car starting intermittantly. turn to ignition and after many tries it'll crank. recently took my doors off to adjust windows and grease cables, and now car does not start. i did the following::
1) Checked main relay - took apart relay and saw the ecu relay make contact at start, and fuel relay goes for 2 secs.
2) Took out starter motor, but not solenoid motor looked fine w/ bushings not very worn.
3) Battery and cables secure with just under 12 volts at gauge.
4) Fuel pump resistor - jumped, but no start.
5) Ecu reset after each diagnostic step.
Since these checks i've noticed the following:: i replaced the main relay and no fuel pump sound at start or ignition.
when i put in "start" console lights up, but in ignition dead silence. tried jumping from batt to solenoid and no start. i recently took out glove box to see if the start relay is bad, but not too sure where to go from there...
any suggestions greatly appreciated.
