So, I have removed the rear wheels/tires and taken them to a tire shop to have new tires put on. While ive got the wheels and tires off and the car on jacks, I decided to change the oil, and polish up the Dc sports headers and Comptech muffler to share pics !

First pic, bottomside, DO NOT comment on the mud on bottomside of the car!! Thats caused by reckless neighbor who has turned my cul de sac into a mud wrestling pit because of his construction work on his house !!

Hope you all enjoyed the pics !

I was hoping more thank just one person would enjoy the pics !
I suppose polishing the headers, piping was just for my pleasure, no one else seemed to care for them, or to comment on them!

:frown:

actually i was just looking at this... how DID you get that coating on the headers?? They look awesome.. i always covered them up (when i used to drag race) with the header wrap and then coat it w/ an aluminum spray... that look is by far MUCH, MUCH better..

thanks for the pics.. :)

any sound clips by chance? I am contemplating this setup on my 02.

Nice to see a 02 rear with a Comptech as I planned this combo myself too. :)

Heh. Its not a 02 rear. It IS A 2002 !! Heh.
I know what you meant though, just hear so much about people doing a 02 swap, yada yada yada, and mine is a full blown, really made in 2002 02 !

No coating, thats just the brushed stainless steel finish. I suppose the polished stainless steel finish shows dirt, and discoloring a lot faster, easier and thats what your probably used to.

I dont have any sound clips, but if we ever meet at any state wide meetings, you will be able to hear my car in person !

Blue line is stock
Red line is after adding the Comptech muffler
Green line is after adding the DC headers in addition to the Comptech muffler.

You can see there was very nice gain. Almost 13 hp to the wheels with just a muffler ! Im very pleased. Very nice tone, awesome quality, excellent fitment, and a very suprising amount of power to the wheels !
