Back last winter, I noticed a creaking sound from the top of the dashboard of my '91. It occurred during turns (any speed) and cornering. Then when the weather warmed up, it went away.
Now, it seems to have reared it's ugly head again. When I press on the center of the main dash toward the windshield (right where the upper dash meets), I am able to duplicate the noise. Anyone experiencing this? Any fixes? It kinda sounds like the material rubbing together (like vinyl against vinyl sound), maybe a shot of silicone? I was thinking about wedging something between the upper/lower section to prevent the sound. Doubt it would be asthetically pleasing though. Maybe I could use a pack of rolling papers, LOL. Thanks!
