Hi

well there is a bulb on each side. There could be two things. Either the bulb as gone bad or the contact between the twist holder and the circuit board could be some lose.

I have having the same problem. I know the bulbs are good. but some times mine will not light up until I hit a bump in the road. So I have been playing around with the connect between the twist holder for the light and the circuit board that holds it and give the light power.

I hope this helps.

I guess you need to take the dreaded dash apart then to get to the bulbs?

Yes. you will have to take the center of the dash apart.

it is easy. I can do mine in about 10 minutes.

1) pull clock out
2) undo screws in the stoage box between seats.
3) undo screws holding the center vent.
4) undo scres at the top and back of the dash.
5) twish off shift knob and pull up emergency brake.
6) lift center dash off. undo clips around cigraette lighter.
7) undo for screws holding ac unit on.
8) pull off the 2 clips on the AC unit.

To open the AC unit up.
1) take out the 2 screws on the side
2) pop the clips on the side to remove the front.
3) take the 6 screws off that hold the front circuit borad to the front of the display.
4) then you have to pop the circuit board out.
5) you will then see the light bulbs on the board. you can see if a bulb is burned out.

If not.

I would then go back and plug it back into the car. the 2 green plugs. Then you can wiggle to see if it is the contact.

To put it back in it is just doing the reverse steps. It is easy. Just take your time.
