Why not have a custom piece of vinyl (or whatever you prefer) cut to fit your dash? You might put some heat reflective material underneath. Keep it rolled up behind the seats, and throw it on the dash when it's going to be left in the sun for some time.I agree with others that the NSX dash seems to hold up well over time, but if you wanted to protect it a custom cover would look better than what you've described.
