When installing the rear sway bar from Dali, i can't put it in the middle or end setting as it catches.

I have been searching the forum and found this a common problem for the front and you should reverse the links.

The rears i can find no info.

People ask regarding the car how much is it lowered?

So if the car was jacked up and no weight on the wheels would this be why when in the air it can not be on any other position? when dropped back on to the wheels would this be corrected?

If this is the case how do you fit them while in the air?

I have adjustable drop links to go with them.

My Dali rear bar has 4 holes in it... I use hole #2 (from the cut end) with no issues. I have used the three other holes as experiments with no fastening issues.

make sure the 2 rubber bushing in the center of the car are loose or not connected let them hang

push one side till it fits then do the other side

then go back and bolt the rubber bushing that hold it to the chassis and you should be done.

edit: also make sure both tires are off the ground or your not gonna even move one.

No, the sway bars were not installed while the car was on the ground. the car was lifted by a 2 post lift with arms, wheels removed and everything suspended with no load.

Did Someone ask for pics? ;)

here they are.

As you will see they are on the loosest setting, almost touching the hub on that setting. There is no way they would fit the middle or far setting, means the rear bars will be mega loose.

Why is it doing this to me?

The rear bar has hardly adjustment and can barely move forward anymore.

it was the same on my factory drop links, this is the reason for going adjustable thinking it would resolve the problem, as mentioned they are DAli Street/Race bars. So the middle ones.

you can try putting the links in first onto the sway bar then swinging them around and reinserting them into the shock

just a thought

I know I just put a sway bar in the front of my 2004 and it was a bitch
I ended up getting it in but it was a bitch But I attached the links first on the sway then angled the link bolt and pulled the sway till the bolt went into the hole. so this may work

report back

don't if this help but, i'm looking at Source1 picture of his endlinks and comptech (i believe) rear sway bar.. his bar have so much more space between the endlink and the part that your endlink are catching.
http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166017 .. scroll down to the pictures.

and you are certain the sway are is facing the right direction right? well, i made that mistake on my other car when installing rear sway bar. forgot which way it suppose to face and it was a pita to get it to line up.. had to go back and look at pictures and redo everything..
