easy EGR checkThere is an easy way to check the EGR valve.. Start up the engine.. warm it up.. then look at the EGR lift valve carefully as you blip the throttle with your hand on the throttle bracket.. You should see it move up and down a little bit as the throttle rpm goes up and down.. It will not move under a static throttle position no matter how high you rev it without load.. So you have to look for it when you blip the throttle..Btw, if your EGR isn't working.. The ECU will usually give you a check light after 2 driving cycles.Eddy
