I am running Kumho somethings (17 front 18 rear) on my 92.  Have about 10000 miles on them so far, and am getting slight wear on the inside edges of the front, but that's it.  I went with the alternate alignment shown in the FAQ, and all was good, with the exception of the alignment shop saying my springs had sagged or something so they could not get the spec dead on.  Guess that means I have an excuse to upgrade if I can ever come up with the cash.  About $600 for the tires and another $150 for lifetime alignments.  Lifetime being as long as I own the car, not the tires, so I am pretty pleased.  The tires are OK, but with the new alignment setting the car handles like crap.  (still better than 90% of the cars out there, but definitly worse than factory settings)  Probably a combination of both.  Had my 92 for less than a year and already over 20k miles.  And I still get excited every time I see her.  Enjoy your new ride.
