Canister pressure (aka: Nitrogen pressure) is the pressure of the nitrogen in the damper.  It's more of a damper oil 'cavitation' problem than 'boiling' problem.


Higher canister pressures are like adding artificial spring rate.  They resist body roll like higher spring rates initially before then going though the stroke of the damper compressing.  It's a little more technical than a simple 'prevents cavitation' or 'adds more spring', but that's a rough idea of what it does.


Never heard of D2 nor never driven on them.  Anyone wanna offer a test?
