CV joints

If I rock my car back and forth, I get a clicking sound from the right rear axle. The axle nut is tight.
The best I can tell it's coming from the inner CV joint. Does anyone know where to find a quality rebuilt axle or am I going to have to go to the dealer for parts? I have about 82K miles. Both CV joints appear to cost about the same as getting new axle.
Ideas or suggestions?

I would not get too excited about the noise it could just be the brake caliper/pads. There is also noise that comes from the differential in cars with more miles on and it normal. If the CV's are bad they will click all the time.

I had that problem awhile ago. It is really easy to redo the shafts. Acura sells the boots, grease and clamps which ran then at 132.00. That is better than 800+ per shaft which I had bought but sold shortly after. Took about an hour to do both sides.

Thats if its your inner boots. NSX boot grease do tend to dry up over time making the joints to your shafts knock even without turning. The heat from the transmission tends to dry up the grease. QUOTED FROM AN NSX TECH.
