Over ten years after my first NSX, I am back again for the third time around!!!

Got my first one back in 03 black/black 91 after hoping on a one way flight to Portland, Or. .couple years later my second child was born and new house, so the third car with two seats had to go...for the time being.



Couple years later after missing it every day, I got the ok to get another one..this time around I found a silver 92 not too far away here in San Diego...once again the time came where I needed to cash out my mobile savings account (aka NSX) a couple years later...I really loved that silver one after putting a taitec gtlw and volks on her....but, I new someday I'd be back, so I let her go...

Well, after searching high and low for my third NSX for like over two years from autotrader to craigslist from Cali to NY, I finally found "the one" 15 minutes from my house!!! it pays to check those sites on the daily, cuz I found a gem!!! Original owner, black on black 5spd, bone stock( except for bilstiens, which I was going to get anyway:smile: ) at a great price!!! I took my buddy Nick from Applied Motorsports( SoCal NSX specialist) to take a test drive and do an inspection and after getting a big thumbs up, I knew it was looking good...after it scored off the charts on Autocheck my mind was made up and a deal was done...after a few snags with penfed and a week of waiting I found LightStream and after qualifying , all I had to do was email a copy of pay stub and they wired the money direct to checking account the next day !!! At a great rate 2.39% for a five year unsecured loan...I highly recommend them to anybody with excellent credit...
so after meeting the seller, Tom, at my bank and paying cash, the deal was done!!! Took it straight to Nicks to do a few hoses and put spring on lower perch and already bought some 96 rims on Craigslist and are having them refinished and should be all good to go by Friday....can't wait!!! Today was a good day!!!

Definitely going to get some Palomar runs going again and look forward to meeting all the new faces that seem to be on the board since last time I was a regular...

The interior was amazing, very little bolster wear for 120,000 miles...

Thanks...Runs like a champ...stretched her legs a bit on the way down to nicks.. Even better then I remembered after being without one for almost 5 years..grin from ear to ear... More pics to come when I get the new shoes on Friday or sat.

Very nice! I remember seeing your car when I was looking at SD-area NSXs and all I could think was "one day... one day."

What's with the wheel caps in the first couple of pics? Looks like they put Legend wheel caps on the NSX wheels (exactly what I did hahaha)

Haha.. I got them off Craigslist from some kid who had tried to paint them black and then tried to undo it.. That's why I took them to get professionally redone.. Get them back today or tomorrow...

Update...got it back yesterday from Nick(applied motorsports) after getting some hoses and other maintenance and alignment after getting the new rims and tires put on...loving it!!! Looks so much better then a week ago we I first went to see it...
Thanks to Tom the original owner for keeping this black beauty in such great shape and patience with my bank, Nick for hooking her up with all the new goodies and getting it back to new, Velvet Touch in Escondido for doing such a great job on the rims, they look brand new...

When I first saw her less then two weeks ago...
