I tried to install my seibon nsxr wing and read on prime to cut the wires and connect the wires properly. But once I did that my brake lights stop working. Please help???

Did you cut both wires at the same time with the battery connected? If so, you probably caused a short and blew a fuse.

I have a feeling I caused a short somewhere. The fuses didn't blow and yes I forgot to disconnect the battery.

You probably would have blown the fuse only if you had your foot on the brake pedal while you were cutting the two wires at the same time.

You need to isolate the problem. Disconnect the spoiler brake light. If the brake lights become operational, then you have a problem with the brake light in the spoiler or the way that you have wired up the brake light. If the brake lights do not operate with the spoiler brake light disconnected, something is damaged (or a fuse is blown) in the car wiring system which will require further investigation.

Thanks to everyone's input, I have now narrowed it down to the brake switch . It has no power. I might have blown that out. Just ordered a new one from acura. As soon as I get it in and install it, I'll update everyone . This may help the next person who makes the same mistake. Everyone who is going to buy a wing , PLEASE disconnect the battery and DO NOT snip off the wire together. Cut one off at a time even tho they both are stuck together. I will update soon.
