Custom order NSX COUPES in US or Canada?

Does anyone know (for sure) if fixed headlight COUPES can still be custom ordered in the US or Canada? My local Fort Lauderdale dealer doesn't think so. I am looking to buy a new or used fixed headlight coupe ('02 to present), 6spd, White/Black. (Potentially, I would even consider a WHITE pre-'02 COUPE where the body has already been converted to '02 looks.) Any information or leads are appreciated. Thanks.

Does anyone know how many coupes were (special) ordered since 96 when that was the only way to buy one after the introduction of the targa in 95 (not counting Zanardis) ?

Just wondering. If I went to Japan, couldn't I buy an NSX in a coupe version and perhaps one their colors? All Honda would do is build a US spec NSX but in coupe form and my color choice. I know there'd be more costs associated but I couldn't see why I couldn't do this. The car would meet all US specs including emissions. In a way this would be similar to the program that Mercedes has (or had) where the buyer can go to Germany and pick up the car built to US specs, drive it around and bring it back without any hassles.

The numbers up through 1998 are in the FAQ (General Info - Production Numbers). I don't know the numbers after that, but all 50 of the Zanardis in '99 were coupes, of course.

No. The way the purchase abroad program works with Mercedes, BMW, and other European marques, you buy a U.S.-spec car through a U.S. dealer, and it gets delivered in Europe. But a U.S. dealer can't sell a model that's not available in the U.S.

However, I believe the NSX Coupe is still available in Japan, in the JDM version, with right hand drive. You would just have a tough time trying to import it into the States.

I had the same thoughts so I checked with Kent Shepley at Honda, who was kind enough to research and post the following:

"The information that I have from our product planning department is "No
special order Hardtops" for the 04 model year.

I wouldn't know where to send you if you were going to Japan to order it."
