This customer's pristine 2001 NSX was CTSC and had some really clean mods, our CF flat bottom wheel was a nice touch to the interior, customer loved the setup:

Does a carbon fiber shift knob heat up hot under the sun?

The top of my steering wheel was kinda hot one day when I didn't put my sun reflector visor up. I imagine the same would happen to a knob. It isn't nearly as hot as a metal knob though.

Does a carbon fiber shift knob heat up hot under the sun?

Yes it does, anything dark colored will but it doesn't absorb as much heat as say a metal shift knob so even though it's hotter, it will dissipate pretty quickly.

Best to use a sunshade or even something such a hat to cover the knob.
