As some of you may know my tech has made strut tower bars for my '98 cp. I tested them on Dijon-Prenois race track and they gave the car more stability over bumps and curbs (or kerbs). They are made of steel, red powdercoated and adjustable. I suggested I mini-serie and he will make them available for others NSXers too. Should also work on pre '98 (maybe with minor changes). Price including tax (but plus shipping) is EURO 475.-- for a set (front and rear). 475 Euro (EUR) = 559.74 US Dollar (USD) using a conversion rate of 1.1784, current as of May 23 2003 12:00AM EST

Howdy, just read your thread, and I was wondering how much of a difference the front strut tower bar would make on the T's, from what I recall the chassis reinforcement on the T's include reinforcement to the area right behind the strut tower, to compensate for the targa top, so that's probably one of the areas of the chassis where it probably does not flex as much.

BTW: You might want to work out the price/availability logistics for a front only set for the T's since they already have a rear strut tower bar from the factory. You might want to list the weights of the components as well.

And one last thing, do you have the Type R chassis reinforcement bars installed on your car? If not it would be interesting to find out how much of an extra improvement can you get over the Type R chassis reinforcement bars with the front strut bar.

Safe driving,

Ken

Just to clarify: This set is intended for the cps not for the T models. I know about the extra reinforcements the Ts have so I think this set will not bring much improvement to an already stabled chassis. For that reason it makes no sense to calculate a price for the front bars alone.

I haven't used the NSX-R bars so I can't tell you anything about the differences.
