I’m aware of the $20K Acura cash for the 2019s, but wondering what kind of discount or price to expect before the Acura cash. The only info I can seem to find is 9% off MSRP, is that accurate? So somewhere around $40k off a fully loaded car?

I could have sworn at some point I read about people getting in the neighborhood of $60K off, but haven’t seen that recently. Trying to decide between buying used or new.

It seems like you would like to mod your car.

If so, getting a cheaper, off warrantee car might make sense.

$60K off happened when a subset of dealers looked to bail out of 17s a couple of years ago.

I do agree with regard to a modded car and warranty. That being said, it seems the downpipes and JB4 are minimally invasive, so wouldn’t think maintaining a warranty is much of an issue. Good to know about the $60k off timeframe. Thanks.

Checking back on this again -- is 20K + 9% off still happening on 2019's? Am in the market.

My 2017 purchase in Nov 2017 was 9.3% off MSRP less $30K rebate...... Total of $43K off sticker. So' you're behind $10k on the rebate to start off with. I wouldn't think $60K off would be attainable in todays market. Good luck finding a car. I love mine.....

Honda seriously curtailed production so the huge factory incentives are a thing of the past. Can still negotiate with dealers but not to 2017 levels.

NSX production needs to step aside because PMC is too busy making TLX and MDX with red paint. We are soon going to see single digit sales of NSX per month very soon. Then the rebates will start for 2020 NSX. There isn't enough race cars and collisions repairs to keep PMC busy. At this pace, PMC have enough idle time to cast their own blocks and heads and not have to outsource to competitor.

Wil be very interesting to see how used prices fare with a bunch of off-lease cars starting next year.

I’ve been saying that for a while now. The residual on my car was going to be $103k. I’m thinking prices will be under $100k when 500+ of them hit the market.

...and there you go. The take rate on the leases will probably be quite high. That, combined with serious curtailments in subsequent production should ensure that resale values remain healthy.

For some people they will have paid almost $70k in lease payments, making the total purchase around $180k off lease. Also is there going to be an extended warranty available?

I would love to hear from any serious current shoppers on what best and final prices are being offered at retail for the 17/18 cars with under 10k miles...

I've been shopping for one for the last two weeks since i saw it at the Phx car show. I found a new 2019 that had been in the dealers showroom 219 days and with all the incentives would be a great deal! Dealer offered $40k off window with the incentives on a $202K msrp. I couldn't live with the blue black combo. Passed on that and went with a lightly optioned 2020 and did the dealCasino White with red leather with a decent discount. Funny, this car is now getting traction there were two other buyer behind me if I didn't take it and they ordered cars.

Truly Acura has done a great job of hiding this car from the public. The ride quality with the performance is incredible at this price point not to mention the build quality.

Congratulations and enjoy it in the best of health

The car has plenty of traction

Getting sales is not a traction situation (11 sold in the entire US last month)

...but the year to date figure is an over 50% increase vs last year. Can’t just look at one month.

Agreed

I track the sales every month in the where are all the deliveries thread

Sales are so bad that Honda had to cook up nonsensical approaches like building other models (TLX and now MDX) in the Andaro metallic red color in the purpose built NSX factory

MSRP was $202,800 to be precise. I got the car (blue/black was my preferred combo) and I did better than $40,000 off . . . much better.

Was the blue one at tempe? I got my TO one there!

If you got the TO NSX from Tempe last week, I have a small world story for you. I had been negotiating with the GM, with the assistance of a salesman. The salesman texted me that the blue NSX had been sold. I found it odd that the GM was still negotiating with me if the car was sold. I called the dealership and discovered that the salesman was mistaken. The blue NSX that I was pursing had not been sold. Rather, their TO NSX was sold the day before. Sounds like that was you. Ps: I just saw photos of a TO NSX with an XPEL Stealth paint protection wrap that turned the paint semi-matte -- it looked amazing!

T o..

I got mine back in September, so must have been a different one. Just had mine fully wrapped in xPel Ultimate. I wanted to go with a gloss finish and the xPel actually enhanced the look. Love it! Had it done by a great shop and technician Scottsdale.

A couple 2019 prices, seems like bargains

A 2019 for 122k
https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/...ctid=58b199ac2dfa2c094fb51cb810ad44d17a7417e0 and another 2019 at 130k OBO https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-Acura...AAOSwX5hd--bj&LH_ItemCondition=3000|1000|2500

The 2017s remain stubbornly high but the 2018s and 2019s can be had for prices that rival or are lower than 2017s.

thanks for the links..the first has the Long island mods ..and possibly DNA stains from late nights at OBI.....the second has a boring all black interior....
